    We came in after 4-5 hours on our boat and decided to eat here we got our food pretty quick my fathers food came and my step mom smelled a strong smell but said nothing i smelled it and said "there is a strong smell to it" So we sent it back the manager came and said "so your food came out wrong" So my dads food came out and it was better the manager came and gave us a whole new plate of my dads food! We were amazed no one ever did that thank you!!!

    The service was lacking! They are stretched way too thin! The Restaurant seemed to be busy for Father's Day (Also Our Wedding Anniversary) But the waitresses didn't seem to spend any time with their patrons. We have gone to plenty of restaurants where we have had to stand in line to be seated and still the waiter/waitress spent time with us, took our order, brought it on Clean & Neat dinnerware. We believe there were far too many things being done by not enough people, here at Sam's St Johns Seafood Restaurant...
    The food was good, but nothing to write home about! The price was good, but our biggest concern is service & sloppiness! We recommend the Broiled Flounder & the Clam Chowder - Both were Excellent!! Ask for FRESH Hushpuppies!
    We had to stand and wait to pay our bill because the Clerk who took our payment was on the phone taking an order.
    Overall, we only give this restaurant 2 stars...

    In town staying down the street and was lucky enough to enjoy this treat..cozy spot near my hotel, great service, friendly atmosphere. Menu has a lot to offer. Had the 2 nicely seasoned lobster tails, corn on the cob, green beans with bacon, hush puppies, fried shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised, I would highly recommend this spot. Oh, and after you lick your plate clean go ahead and opt for the home made key lime pie.. all goodness..travelers, I recommend.
